Addition and Subtraction Problems

 WALT: Revise problem Solving.

Today in maths, I had done 5 addition and subtraction math problems. They were easy for me because I knew my addition and subtraction and that’s what made it easier for me.

My total score was 100% so I got all of the questions correct.

Next time I would like to do three digit problems or maybe four digit ones.

Raewyn Harris art work

This is my maori art work. I was inspired by Raewyn Harris. She is a teacher and an artist from Hawkes Bay. My art doesn't really look the same as her one, but I took some of her ideas and made it into my own maori art  work. From Raewyns art work, I drew the big leaf and most of the korus. I found this challenging at first, but then I found it easy. I really enjoyed doing maori art and next time I would like to draw samoan and tongan art.

Painting Poppies

This is a painting of poppies that I painted for Anzac day.

Perimeter and Area

In Math I have been Learning about Perimeter and Area. I remember that perimeter is like to measure each side of an object or a shape. You would use perimeter in maths or your everyday life.

I remeber that Area is the surface. Say I am moving my playground set I would have to use area.

I think that I at least have a good understanding about what perimeter and area are. But to get even better at this I need to keep practising this.

I got 2 green smiley faces on study ladder which means i got a score between 80 to 100.cf
