WALT: Understand/find 2 meanings to puns

In class we have been learning about puns and to get a better understanding of them, Our teacher printed two pictures. One was a netball that said “Keep your eyes on the ball” and one was our principal Mr.Hendricks that said “ Eyes by me”. When we got it, we had to draw what it meant, so basically we drew eyes on the ball and eyes around Mr. Hendricks.
Eyes on the ball- Focus on the ball, watch where the ball goes
Eyes by me- Look at me
