Apple and Pastry Creation

This is my apple and Pastry rose creation that I made last week Friday. When it came out of the oven, it       didn't look anything like it did in the picture above, but it was still really nice.

Procedural writing: Jam biscuits

Walt: write a procedure for making Jam biscuits.

Success Criteria: use a verb to begin every  step in the method.

Ingredients:

• 125g of butter or( ½ cup)
• ½ cup of sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 cups of flour
• 1 tsp of baking powder
• 1 tbsp of milk
• Jam ( any flavour)

Method:

step 1. pre-heat the oven to 180°celsius.

step 2. Melt 250g of butter in the microwave.

step 3. cream 250g of melted butter and ½ cup of sugar in a bowl till light, soft and fluffy.

step 4. add in 1 egg and mix together.

step 5. combine your mixture with 2 cups of flour and 1 tsp baking powder.

step 6. pour in 1 tbsp of  milk and combine together.

step 7. grab a handful of the mixture and shape it into little oval sized balls.

step 8. press the biscuit dough lightly in the middle to make a small hole.

step 9. put in a tsp of jam in the hole and bake for 15 minutes.
