Making Fizz
Today we made sherbet, a lolly that fizzes in your mouth.
First we mixed the icing sugar and powdered cordial. Then, we added the baking soda. The last two ingredients were the citric acid and the tartaric acid. Finally we mixed all the ingredients together.
When our teacher allowed us to taste the mixture, it began to fizz in our mouths. This was because we mixed the acids with carbonates this is why it fizzed.
This was the first best experiment we had in the class this year. in experiment very much.
