Signal’s Airport Adventure 31.10.14

Signal’s and Telegraph, two british shorthair kittens are coming home to

friday Harbour with their new human mom and dad, Miss Splash and her

husband, mr. Bubbles. When they arrive at the airport to go on the airplane,

Signal gets into all sorts of trouble. First he sets off the security alarm, and

then he disappears from the waiting area. Everyone frantically searches for

him until a little boy spies him in the most unlikely place!

The Mysterious Night

The mysterious night Date: wednesday 24 october

It was a dark stormy moonless night when the power went off as we walked home in the rain.

Then, just as we knew it something black with red drippings ran past us as if it was the thick wind. As it ran past blood had been stained onto the road. When we were walking we started to get frustrated and scared, then it came AGAIN!! that something had ran past us. we started to really scared because it was dark, moonless and only 4 street lights worked!! what was wrong with the electricians?  Then we stopped, as my sisters cry with fear and as i was shaken up I still kept walking. “HURRY UP” I say with anger as to the rest of my family.”It’s raining i don’t want to get sick” so they came and we tried our best to find our way back home.

“aha!” I say filled with joy. “ A tree, come let’s go underneath this tree it should keep us dry for now. As the weather  kept raining, we were cold, hungry and so sad. We tried to contact our family but it had no service and we knew that someone was behind us, just by hearing the sounds like: Boom! BANG! thump. we could also hear someone breathing, then “AHHHH!” a scream from down the road was heard.”u-mm, mum what was that?? ” I whispered softly.” I don’t know but stay close ok” “ Okay”.

It was about 11 pm at night and the moon was still gone. what had happened to the moon? i questioned myself. The rest of the family were fast asleep so i took a walk  but one person was awake. and that person kept saying one sentence over and over again and that sentence was: “ I  want to kill but heart ain't fulfilled” It started getting spooky at about 12 pm and that person was still saying that sentence with no break.I soon felt spooked out and one of the street lights had just cracked. Crack! all the pieces of glass had been shattered into little speckles. Oh No!! i yelled in fear as i ran back home but a black ash blocked my way as the rain stopped. my family was in a cloud of white silvery mist and black and red blood had been dripped all over the road. I tried to break free but i suddenly felt a hand on my back just feeling me until it reached my neck i was yelling for help but i was soon in a box. It was filled with glass, and i that box my family was there but in another box. an invisible box. I was crying for them but they could not hear me i soon stopped crying and my heart just broke. it was shattered and i turned into a black and red cloud. The hand soon tapped me on the back and then a black cloud appeared and turned into a face. it said:” I want to kill but i ain’t fulfilled” and turned my life into a  VAMPIRE!!

Netball training

Netball Training 23.07.14

After morning tea at 11.15am Glen Innes school, we had Netball training from a laddie who teaches  netball at the ami netball.

First, we all went up on the school court to get ready for our session. Then, she came. She introduced herself to us and said that her name is Donna.Donna asked us a few questions before we could get started. She asked us “What is the first thing that you play before you get started” and we all said ”a warm-up!”, first we did a few exercises. then we played a game.  she asked us to get into pairs of 2 or 3. Mele,Alisi,Alyssa and i wanted to group up and be a pair of 4, but when we asked Donna ( our coach ) said “no.”so Alyssa and i paired up and Alisi and Mele paired up.

After that,we played a game called “fire and friendly.” In this game when Donna would say Fire! then all fires would have to pass  the ball to their knee  and if she said friendly, then all friendlies would have to do a high through.Next, we played another. we had to get into groups, so like Donna would ask us to go into the red group, green group or blue group and when we were ready, donna asked us if one of us wanted to hold a hoop and if one of us wanted to pass the ball to the children when they had passed it back. I was in the green group and sina and Rebecca were either holding the hoop or passing the ball back to us.

Then, when that finished we all got in a  circle. Boys were in one circle and the girls were in the other circle. we had to pass to balls around in the circle while watching each other to see weather if the ball is coming to you, or to someone else.I liked this game but it was hard to watch the ball to see if it was coming to you or not.

I think that todays netball training with Donna was fun and friendly. my favourite game for todays netball training was “fire and Friendly”.

Drought

Drought

This book is called drought.

It is about a daughter and her father who are alone and who lose their mum who ends up dying.It is also about the dad who works hard and always works hard. The daughter  always goes to her friends miri’s house to stay over until her dad gets home and when his daughter has to write a story about drought during drought.
